Koepp, Editor or The Jordan Independent paper, Feb 18, 1999:
'And
speaking of books, I read a children's book this week that was different
than anything I'd ever seen before!
"The
Oceans of Emotions," written and illustrated by a husband and wife team,
Nicole & John Clark, is a treat to the eye.
Not
only are the illustrations beautifully done in deep ocean colors, they come
to life when the reader dons a pair of 3-D glasses that are tucked into a pocket
at the back of the book. It makes you feel like you're right there in the ocean
with the fish and other sea creatures. It's Fascinating!
Not
only that, the story is timeless, embracing the emotions that we all
feel and share.
It's
a story about Destiny Dragon's adventure in the ocean.
Destiny
is washed overboard in a terrible storm and winds up at the bottom of the ocean,
where she meets a series of lovable sea creatures. Her new friends help her
to find her way home and teach her valuable lessons about her emotions and feelings.
If
you're looking for a birhtday, Easter, or any gift for a child , this is it!

Joyce
Rice - Children's Literature:
Destiny the Dragon is aboard a sailing ship, crossing the ocean to come home.
She is very excited about seeing her home and her parents again. When a storm
arises at sea, Destiny is thrown overboard. As she waits to be rescued, she
falls into a deep sleep, only to awaken at the bottom of the Ocean of Emotions.
Destiny is befriended by creatures of the ocean as she discovers her way back
home, reminiscent of Oz's Dorothy.
The illustrations are beautifully done and will be a delight
to children.
